Welcome to the RGC 2013 - the 1st Russian German Conference formerly Russian Bavarian Conference on Bio-Medical Engineering - taking place in Hanover from 23. - 26. October 2013.

The Russian Bavarian Conference on Biomedical Engineering (RBC) was founded 2005 in Munich. Thereafter, the conference established itself as a fruitful information exchange platform for researchers from Russia and Germany working in the areas of

  • Systems and instrumental for therapy and diagnostics
  • Biomaterials, implants and artificial organs
  • Biomedical imaging and signal processing
  • Micro- and nanotechnologies in biomedical engineering
  • Mathematical and computing methods for medical engineering

The conference location alternated equally between cities in Russia and the southern part of Germany. After the successful 8th RBC conference in Moscow the steering committee decided to broaden the focus and establish a new conference: the Russian German Conference (RGC) on Biomedical Engineering. The goal is to serve as meeting point for information exchange and as venue for initiating bilateral Russian German research projects within the conference’s scope. In 2013 the first RGC on Biomedical Engineering takes place in Hanover, Germany.

The scientific program will be divided into plenary sessions and section meetings. The plenary sessions include key speaker presentations within wider subject areas. These speakers are renowned professors or scientists. The section meetings are topic-focused. They are a platform for mainly young researcher’s presentations.

Further information will be published soon.

We cordially invite you to come to Hanover to contribute your part from your discipline and speciality.
